Inna Pantelemonova is a Ukrainian professional artist, born in 1977 in Odessa. She has been living and working in Kyiv for 27 years. The artist's works have a characteristic style of ethno-symbolism. Turning to the depths of Ukrainian ethnicity, the artist reveals in her works the themes of femininity, feelings, relationships and the meaning of life through Ukrainian ethnic symbols, signs and observations of everyday life.
In her works, the artist combines traditional symbols with modern artistic language, building a bridge between cultural heritage and the current artistic context. The texture of materials and color play an important role, forming a recognizable author's style.
Ornament and wood act as carriers of a cultural code, in which tradition, memory and the passage of time take on material form. The image of a flower in the works summarizes the interaction of the past and the future, and the cracks on the surface emphasize the fragility and at the same time the stability of memory.
The exhibition unites the works as a holistic metaphor of the "tree of memory", where the personal, cultural and historical are intertwined. This is an invitation to reflect on our identity, spiritual heritage, and the role of art in preserving the connection between the past and the present.
